Byblos Christmas tree 2015 is chosen among the best

For the second consecutive year, the Christmas tree of Byblos city has been chosen by the American newspaper "The Guardian" as one of the most beautiful trees in the world.
During the Christmas season 2015, Jbeil combined the old with the new and the symbols of Byblos with modernized technology.
The left side of the tree represents the sail; reminding us of a historical time when the Byblos port was the single most important shipping destination in the world.
The right side of the tree represents a perfectly shaped modernized mosaic, with rough edges and hard borders to show the unity and integration of the different types of people in Jbeil.
